We offer IV sedation endodontics, a technique that administers relaxation medication directly into a patient’s bloodstream. The procedure is monitored from start to finish by a licensed medical anesthesiologist.  

Sedation therapy is generally recommended for individuals who experience high anxiety, who fear dental care as a result of a traumatic or painful experience in the past, who have a bad gag reflex, or have a limited time to undergo dental care. Sedation therapy is especially helpful with children or mentally challenged individuals who find it difficult to cooperate during dental visits.

The effects of sedation therapy will last from two to six hours depending on the extent of the treatment required.
